Owed unpaid leave, overtime, or a bonus you were promised?
← Back to Underpayment Lawyer
Beyond your base wage, a range of entitlements, annual leave, overtime, commissions, bonuses, are easy for an employer to get wrong or simply not pay, especially when they're tied to targets, discretion, or informal agreements.
This might be your situation if
- You weren't paid out your accrued annual leave when you left a job.
- You've worked overtime that hasn't been paid, or paid at the wrong rate.
- You were promised a commission or bonus, met the criteria, and haven't been paid.
- You're not sure whether an entitlement you think you have is actually owed.
Tell us what you believe you're owed and on what basis, an award, a contract, or something you were told, and we'll help you understand where you stand.
Common questions
Generally yes, accrued but unused annual leave is paid out on termination. Some other leave types (like personal/sick leave) usually aren't paid out unless your award, agreement, or contract says otherwise.
That's not automatically true. Whether overtime should be paid, and at what rate, depends on your award, agreement, or contract, not just what you were told verbally.
